Why do men prefer skinny women? Do WE make you feel more muscular? Is it that WE'RE more appealing? What is it about US skinny women?

To answer your question in the same order you asked them:

Because they're knuckleheads. No, you're not. They need to gain more pounds.

I have no idea. My husband is really tall, but we met by accident. I'm short and I usu prefer guys well under 6 feet. I did have some single friends who would not date a short man. They looked like models (tall, thin and beautiful) IMO anyway, and they got a lot of guys, but would never ever consider a guy shorter than they were. I didn't understand it at all. If you meet a succesful, good looking guy, you would write him off because of 1 inch of height!?? Anway, my husband has huge hands and feet and everyone in my family is pretty small, so it took some getting used to. I asked him what on earth his parents fed him and apparently it was cake. Lots of cake. He does do a very good job of protecting me from other guys. That is a plus. Strangely enough, while women occasionally hit on him, he usually gets MANY double-takes and stares from other GUYS. Esp when they're walking by with their girlfriends. I guess they're jealous. That's is uber-weird to me. Anyway, there are women who prefer shorter men.

$$$ bingo!

There are so many types of people out there, with their own preferences, you are free to want whatever type best appeals to YOU! Don't listen to the hype and stero-typical cliches that the media portrays. Their paid to write about something, ten years ago, it was personality and smarts, last year it was about the bigger beefier cars, today it's rail thin pretzel stick models and tall gangly underwear model men... and economically efficient gas mileage, tomorrow, who knows.

I like my high heels. I can't tower over and have him talk to my bosom. It just won't do!

Well.. I'm 6'1 and a gal, so I do prefer taller than normal men. Dated a couple guys 6'5 and taller, and a few under 6'. My first boyfriend was 5'6 Besides, having a guy that is just boob level is a bit uncomfortable...

I don't know that all women prefer tall men, I think women in general just want a man that's taller than they are. For example, I'm 5'9", I want a man that's taller than me, it's not anything to do with security or feeling good about it, it's just that I'm not comfortable dating someone shorter than I am.

the other good part is if she is tall it kills her instinct to hunt for someone taller than her.
