I fit a few of those. Especially the tap water thing. I have not drank tap water in years and will not. I even use bottled water to wet my toothbrush. Oh well, oh well!

In a small way I have to disagree with a couple of those. When I tie my jacket around my waist its because its not 'jacket weather' anymore and I can still keep my hands free from carrying anything not necessary.
I do drink tap water, just not at this house. If you knew the plumbing here youd understand why. If filtered or bottled water is offered, thats fine too.
I dont even like wine so get me a beer. Does that count?

I think when men call a woman "high maintenece" it's because they are insecure. Men can be "high maintenece as well"
just because some people prefer bottled water over tap water doesn't make them picky or high-main. it's just a preference.
I'd like a guy's interpretation of high maintenence.

Probably the same person that said if we eat sugar, canned vegetables or plain white bread, we'll die of cancer?
My vision of a high maintainence girl would be one who demands (and gets) jewelery, gets her pick of a new car every year, expensive name-brand clothing, basically, gets her way with everything, using sex as a weapon. Guess I was wrong in guessing that?
Men are not exempt from that though, too.

I think your definitions are more on the mark than the OP's. I get accused of being high maintenence if I like Coach bags, or go to nice restaurants, etc. It is such a ridiculous term and I think some guys use it as a defense mechanism to hide their own insecurities or whatever.
I buy my own Coach bags, I take myself out to nice restaurants, no one "maintains" me, which is how I would define "high maintence". A single, independent woman who takes care of herself is considered high maintence to a guy who can't afford those things, like he feels pressured that he will have to buy those things or spend tons of money on the woman.
that's just my opinion!
