High Maintenance Girl - Does that mean she requires more maintenance, at a much shorter mileage intervals? Like oil change and lube every 500, instead of 4000 miles, and tune-up every 3000, instead of 30,000 miles?
There's no need to lube her if you can't afford her. You'll never scratch your piston in that case.
I fit a few of those. Especially the tap water thing. I have not drank tap water in years and will not. I even use bottled water to wet my toothbrush. Oh well, oh well!
That's because you live in Florida. The water there is terrible. Yuck!
I've known, not dated seriously, a couple of these women, by the way.
One is the classic princess type, a neighbor who always was ordering her boyfriends around. Now, in her 20s and early 30s, she was hotter than flowing lava and could get away with it. But, even then, after about two months, any man worth his salt would say, "Wait a minute. The rest of my life could be this way." And they would dump her.
The second was a woman who insisted that she'd only marry a man who would pay for her new car, her weekly facial, manicure, and massage, and tennis lessons.
Last time I heard, they were still unmarried and desperately unhappy.
the single most visible sign as pointed out by prior posters is expectations. she will invest 3 dollars for every 10,000 you invest. not good. you want too much you want too badly you want everything for nothin
joni mitchell sing it.

I think most men think "high maintence" translates to "Oh gosh, she dresses nice, had a nice bag, shoes, hair style, etc. that means I'm going to have to maintain her!"
when actually, no one is "maintaning" her. She buys her own clothes, bags, etc, whatever.
Guys shouldn't be so vain to think that a woman will want the guy to do these things. Maybe it's true in some circumstances, but not EVERY woman who takes care of herself and buys her own stuff needs a man to do it or take over doing it for her. So what if she takes a long time to get ready? so what if she buys expensive things? so what if she wants wine with dinner? it seems mostly men make this comment. it seems like a self-esteem issue.

My brother's wife is very high maintenance. That woman should be nowhere near a credit card. She is a major shopaholic who is financially bleeding my brother dry.
