she was a long time employee and had lots of friends there so as far as i know she still works there. my friend, red, was fresh out of college and that was his first real job. she was 36 years old and had been working there since the 90's, so...besides, he thinks the boss had/has something for her.

He will be fired instnatly with no appeal and no recomendation. He probably shoulkd have been fired long ago. If he is this stupid, how can his employer not realize that they have an idiot working for them?
I hope his few seconds of excitment are worth it to him to lose his job and probaby not be able to get another one. If he is fired for this, he will nto get unemployment. What will he eat?
I have a friend that I have known since high school and he has been telling me the politics and what not of working in an accounting firm. Anyway, he tells me about this married lady with kids that he flirts with. He feels her rear and they also share long intimate hugs when no one is looking. I have more to the story as it has ups and downs..but based on that what are your thoughts. I told him he needs to be careful b/c I think she may want more and this would put him in an even more awkward position. He seems to think it is all innocent. So is it innocent flirting, or does she want more or what?

When I first read your post I wondered how anyone in this day and age could be naive enough to ask such a question. From my 11year old daughter on up would know the answer to this.
However, maybe you have a point. To us "oldtimers" marriage and relationships carry a different kind of loyalty than we find prevelant today. When my local tv station is advertising for www.AshleyMadison.com, it's no wonder that some people are confused on what appropriate behaviour, relationship committment, workplace ettiquette is anymore. The lines today are far more skewed and the gray area has widened to extremes I never thought I would witness in my lifetime. Adultery is nothing new, it is the general acceptance to the point of advertising on prime time TV that is bizarre to me.
I oftentimes call myself the new minority. I was married 23 years to the same man who is the natural father to our five daughters.
After parting ways a few years ago, I steer far clear of the dating scene. I am of myself. I want what I give. I believe that to think about/speak intimately to/touch another man than the one I am committed to is disloyal. I understand that not everyone feels the same. This is why I choose to remain single.
But no matter what your friend or his siren believes committment means, workplace etiquette in itself dictates against this type of behaviour.

They got in an argument over .........over……..the presidential election!!
I literally died laughing when he told me this. It seems they had different candidates and it got pretty hot and heavy but not in the sexual way. How funny is THAT!!!!!
Okay so here is what has been happening since:
He stopped talking to her. I guess she was pretty mean (my take on the situation from his words). In the end, she sent him an email asking what was wrong and she is sorry if she got upset but she was having family issues and it probably affected more people than she had hoped and if there was anything she could do to fix the situation let her know. He just said okay and is still giving her the cold shoulder. She has returned the favor and has been just as icy.
AHH but the issue is they have a mutual project they must work on in the coming weeks. Isn’t life funny? I have stopped telling him what to do and instead I just sit back and watch it unfold.
To answer some questions:
Nothing has been done in plain view for anyone to see, though they haven’t embraced for SOME time now. She has mentioned that if anyone did see she would act very differently and he would see a side of her he probably would not like. I may not be the smartest man but that is a hint and a half for one's ass.....
No one has been fired yet....
