Your boss needs to know the guy is a common cretin, and they really need to consider how such behavior will reflect on the company when he pulls such a stunt in front of clients or upper management.

I think I might have to say something to management about the teeth thing.

Jeezus, it makes me uncomfortable to have say something.,

Are you supposed to be mentoring this guy in any way? If he's new to the work world, then maybe he just doesn't know professional norms. Or he's oblivious and gross.

Yeah, I'm supposed to mentor him. I think he said he was 40, so no, not new to the workforce.

It finally happened - for the last three years I've been hustling teaching jobs, working as a sub or on temporary, semester-long contracts...but I finally got a call this afternoon that I've been chosen for a full time position, and it's in the exact grade level I've been seeking. I am so relieved, happy, tired, and want to celebrate all at once. I think I will sleep a lot more soundly tonight.

I will finally have my very own classroom! I've been shoring up supplies, decor, appliances, etc. in anticipation of finally getting my own room.

Life is grand. Ironically, I was expressing some pretty sobering thoughts about "contingency plans" if I got to the end of this summer with no job offer. *contented sigh*

I found out something interesting today. I have a “cellular” Apple Watch… it’s a lot easier than carrying my cell phone around while doing chores around the farm. So…Coming down the stairs this am I slipped, but I was able to catch myself on the railing. I kind of ended up just sitting on my rear. My watch vibrated and on the screen it said, it looks like you have taken a fall, are you ok? Had I been injured I could have had my watch call 112 (our version of 911) and it would have given them my GPS coordinates. I thought it was pretty cool, and a little creepy at the same time. Lol
