What would you think of this? I was working an event the other day and this guy dressed as a bear was walking around. He started flirting with me and telling me I was pretty, etc. It was pretty funny. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I found out the guy doing this was a 70 year old man who wants to date every woman in town and did ask my dad about me but he told him that I was taken.

Sounds like he does it so people don't immediately reject him for being an old man

That's a great comeback. I was just so stunned by this guy because it was so funny. I am glad I didn't find out it was this guy until after the fact.

Actually he was doing this because the event hired him to dress like this. However thinking about this guy dressing as such trying to get dates seems so much more funnier.

Excellent question, OP. The epidemic of bear-suit flirters is a serious issue in this day and age. If I had nickel for every time a nasty, old man in a bear suit tried to pick me up...I'd be a very, very, very rich man. I recommend therapy to deal with the trauma of this incident.

Well IDDY you didn't have any issues dating a toddler dressed as a man, it would seem a double standard to reject him based on his bear costume alone.

that sounds kind of dangerous.

i mean it is definitely not beyond the pale that this kind of man gets dealt with violently

and a 70 year old man can't take much
