I can think of two happily married couples I know, that either their first instinct or gut instinct of their current partner was largely negative. One even shared the story at their wedding, to lots of laughter.
Anyone here have any experience related to this?
People who rely on gut instincts are fools. Anyone who would rather trust emotions over logic is not the kind of people I want to date. The only time I use gut instinct in dating is when I get a sketchy vibe from a girl

Fools ? No they're just "feelers" rather than "thinkers" on the Jung personality type system. Being a "thinker" is not the only valid way to be.

What, nobody else thinks it's funny that Mr Logic follows his OWN sense of 'vibes'?
Giving him benefit of doubt, maybe he was being intentionally ironic?
