I think as with almost everything else in life it varies with the person. My wife can take it or leave it. There was a point in her early 40's when she really got into a lot of sexual things including watching porn with me but now it's "EH!" LOL.
Speaking as a man, I'd rather have sex than watch porn any day of the week and twice on Sunday. But then I may be a little stranger than most. Porn is, at best, a poor substitute for a good workout in between the sheets. Otherwise, porn is nothing more than masturbation, mutual or not. Erotica, in my opinion, is mental masturbation or a poor substitute for foreplay. Understand that these are my opinions only and reflect the place where my head resides. Other people have, and will continue to have differing opinions on this subject. I don't consider porn to be obscene, just not a substitute for sex and foreplay.
Probably true, but nothing is as good as the videos I play in my head. I know that some folks might not relate to that, but as a guy, there are these movies playing inside my head that are libidinous and erotic beyond belief. Hmmm. Might have been a little too much to let everyone in on, but I'm a reasonably honest guy. Maybe other folks don't have these little playback moments in their head. Hallmark would certainly not pick these little video clips for their televised minute commercials, but I can pick these times and run it back through the wayback machine.
