c'mon now, I am not that cold and distant. I am very "nice" , "bad" in a good way, affectionate and stuff only that it is in spurts, and then I want to be left alone for a while and be independant. Just need a chick the same way.

Women want a REAL alpha male but its not possible to have an over abundance of true alpha males in any given setting.Alot of men realise this but don't want to put in all the work and time it takes to become a true alpha male.So they take a short cut and become badboys,players or jerks and display some exciting alpha traits but also have more negitve baggage than an alpha male would have.The problem with this behavior is it works,especialy with younger women.I don't think these negative behaviors will ever end because they keep getting rewarded time after time.

This has to be the best and truest thing I've heard on this topic. Except, at 18, I ended up with a 'nice guy' and forever turned my back on 'bad boys'. I didn't realize that's what I had before til I found what it was like to be treated well and to be with someone who liked being treated the same.
EDIT.....meh forget this, I am not being dragged into another bad boy thread....
Oh, yes, you are! If not now, later. We can't help it! I say the same thing every time something similar shows up and I usually stick to it while the thread is still fresh and meatier, but once the BS starts... I'm so there!
Yes, it seems to be that way. I'm not sure women stay on the "bad boy" path all of their lives, but I remember being a teenager and my teacher telling me that all girls go through the bad boy stage. The other day I found a christian blog, owned by a woman, and she said that men - the guys who aren't bad boys - should be ready to be great fathers and husbands for the women who are leaving the bad boy stage.
Sorry. I am not interested in leftovers, even less in paying full price for what others had when it was young, beautiful, [mod cut]- and std free too!

Bad boys exist because stupid women have sex with them. If you find them addictive, it says something about your intelligence level or perhaps you enjoy being treated like run over dog poop! One of those two is guaranteed to be true.

Stupid? Well, is a man stupid for drooling over a pretty face? if women are attracted to bad boys, then they are wired to find bad boys attractive for a reason. Avoid women and you won't have to worry about that. Or accept things as they are and deal with them as they come along, I guess.
