Reading that chocolate truffle thread, made me realize I had to share my Oreo ball recipe with y'all. This recipe will have family and friends hunting you down so they can get their oreo fix. Here goes - you HAVE to make these....

Oreo Balls

1 pkg of Oreo's - crushed fine in the food processor
1 8 oz block softened cream cheese
1 block vanilla bark

Mix oreo's and cream cheese in large bowl.
Roll into balls - not huge, just bite size and put on wax paper.
Melt vanilla bark in top of double boiler.
Dip balls in melted vanilla bark (I use 2 forks).
Chill in fridge. Sometimes I melt a little chocolate and drizzle on top to make them really pretty.

Very simple, yet amazingly delicious and I get asked to make them all the time.

It is clear I need to never fix these, if I expect to keep fitting into my pants.

That is interesting - sometimes I think that certain recipes are famous in certain areas of the country. Until I found this recipe a few years ago - NO one had heard of them. Seems I am the only one in SE Virginia who knows how to make them - LOL!!!!

These sound great and will try them this week so I can bring something else for Thanksgiving dinner. One question, are they real sweet? I don't eat Oreo (my DH loves them) cause they are too sweet for me. I'm thinking maybe the cream cheese will cut down the sweetness. Doesn't matter, I'll make them anyway.
Thanks

I think vanilla bark is the white chocolate dipping/melting chocolate.
