If you don't have a food processor, just crush them in ziplock. Make sure they are finely crushed. A blender might work too!
Can you freeze them? This sounds like a great recipe, can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing it.

ACTUALLY, there are "low-cal" oreos. And you could use no fat cream cheese b/c you can't taste the difference... That's what I did last year.

Since I rarely freeze anything - I am not sure.
As long as cream cheese freezes OK - go for it - don't see why not!

I was talking to my cleaning helper today about this recipe and she said their family makes them but calls them "dirty snowballs".

Could you use vanilla chips instead of bark?

I think I bought the wrong vanilla/white bark. Albertson's today didn't have white chocolate chips or anything called bark so I picked up something called vanilla candiquik. You melt the whole tray in the micro or oven and dip whatever. Does anybody know if this stuff will work

Thank you! I made these once and remembered that I once made something involving oreos and white chocolate...but when I got around to making my Christmas baking list, couldn't remember where I had found the recipe or what it even contained! So thank you so much!

F.Y.I. made these today without going out to buy regular chips. The first 8 came out really nice, then the stuff started to harden and couldn't dip the balls anymore. I wouldn't use this candiquik again. I went out and got the chips and the rest came out good.
