Do you have a preference whether you communicate real estate stuff via text or email?
Or, "Other?" Discuss....

Poll will stay open indefinitely. Multiple guess answering is open. Respondents CD User Names will be public, so I can separate the Real Estate Professionals from consumers.

I prefer email because I have an easily archived paper trail. I have an app that will convert text conversations into a document that I can store on my computer but it takes those extra steps. I pretty much go with whatever my customer prefers but email is my personal preference.

And, yes, I am bored. I am sitting in my office until 12 on "floor time".

My email is my written record. I've had many conversations on the phone, only to send a summary email for both our records (if it's important, like dropping spouse from loan). Text messages get forwarded to my email, only if important.

(Not bored, procrastinating big-time).

My bad!
Should say "Real Estate Professional", rather than "Real Estate Agent."
I know you are not a Protected Lender Class, but surely did not mean to exclude you!

CD Polls are hard and cannot be revised once posted. I guess that is why people make a living putting them together.

Lol, no worries.....I've always favored the "other" category anyways.

As a consumer, I like alerts via text but email for anything lengthy. My phone alerts me either way.

email preferred over text so that I have the permanent record and can keep all the information together in the same thread.

Text is my go-to for quick messages - like I'm running late.

I am not in the real estate business.

I don't even DO texting, and never get them. So, texting simply does not work for me. I am 68 years old and nobody that I know texts either, or else I'd learn how to do it.

I slightly prefer e-mail to phone, but really either one of those is just fine with me.

I like text except when I need a paper trail in which case I follow up with an email. So really I'm both.
