wow!! For that price here, they could get a beautiful home. I think the agent was trying to let people know what they were in for if they went to look. Crazy what some people do to their homes when they're losing them.

This listing should win a prize! Not sure which prize, though.

Why?

The pictures are just unbelievable. One is actually a picture of a wall that says "Welcome to the Slaughterhouse". And one is of a light fixture with the word "F**K" written on it in black marker. I kid you not. The rest are just as unbelieveable.
My guess is that they were entirely too lazy to take their own pictures and used some taken by either a property preservation/insurance inspector or an appraiser. This is an unbelievable FAIL by the REALTOR involved.

Clearly the agent didn't want to waste his/her time with buyers who expected perfection or something close to it. If you are still interested in seeing the house after seeing the pictures, you are a serious buyer. I don't know the area but maybe that property would normally sell for $500K or more.

Sure, it has to be a foreclosure. Zyngawf is right, we've seen worse.

Notice where it says: "status", they are taking backup offers! Lots of trashy folks in this world, they probably never made a payment on the house and just stayed in it until the sheriff booted them out. Or, there were squatters living in there.

The other one is on the "real estate" thread. Certainly looks like a foreclosure gone really bad, probably buyers bought it when the CA market was flying high at double that price or more ... maybe even squatters were living in there after the owners left. They are looking for backup offers, so it must be drastically below market value for the area.

It does take the prize so far though.

Can't believe anyone would put such photos on their listing. I would be embarrassed to have that type of "work" carry my name. It looks more like photos of a punchlist of repairs needed. To think a broker approved these pictures is just unreal.

LOL Thank you for the good laugh. I find it hilarious that they took a close up photo of the 'f*** lamp" for the listing Also, that pool is seriously messed up.

Giving a true indication by pictures so as to not waste anyone's time when they see the price $40-$100+ thousand below others homes in the area and want to rush out and see it. The agent is letting people know they have their work in store for them. Besides maybe the f*** on the light fixture, I really see no problem. I really have no problem with the f*** either but I know many would so I think that one should have been left out.
