If they had, it would be categorized as a "who NOT to vote for" list.
4 years ago the local association gave $7K to a candidate for county supervisor. Every single real estate agent in the district was for the incumbent. The challenger was a very nice man, but completely incompetent.
It was the beginning of the end of may association with the association.
Just a list of the realtors in my association (they made donations to all of them, regardless of party) who were running for local public offices. About 8-9 people I think. It seems like many agents round here run for public office for some reason. I can think of 5 people in my office alone, who hold public office. We have a town president, three councilpeople (not all the same town, in fact all different ones) and a president of a school board. Both Republicans and Democrats. It does come in handy at times having these contacts in town halls. All of them are very helpful when you need it. I am OK with the board supporting our agents, the donations are largely in the $200 range.
