Past experiences with a great real eatate agent? Would like to know what is happening out there in the Boise area. My agenda, if you will, is to determing what the consumer wants from a real estate agent and what they don't want. And thanks to all responses...

No clue why you got the responses you did, but my greatest experiences come from two directions. One occured yesterday as we delivered pizzas and a simple closing gift to a family getting a new start on life following a horrific divorce. There was Mom, her teenaged children, her parents, and her sister's family helping move in to a brand new home full of hope for happiness and love. That was a fantastic thrill.

The other thrill comes along everytime I have the pleasure of handing a commission check to one of our associates. It matters not how big, or how small, it's simply a warm fuzzy feeling to see their smile of success.

That's about you though. The OP is asking about the consumer perspective. That is why they got the responses they did.

Yes, you are correct. I misread the first line; however, my post came after the odd responses. However, I will keep my post there. It was written first person, but it was not about me, I believe it was more about my excitement in seeing others get what they wanted. My thrill is that smile, and therefore, I work hard to see a satisfied client or associate. If I look for their satisfaction first, mine will be equal. However, if I seek mine first, more often everyone will not win. If I were advising a person about how to find an effective agent, I would advise them to look first for attitude, then if the attitude is there, I would look for the necessary skill sets.
