I don't know about any other house but my own, but TWC works well for us. We have 3 hd dvrs and never had a crash and they get used A LOT. Might be that I have a husband in the business and knows which boxes to use and which to avoid. He also knows how to set up the cables/wires. Our Roadrunner is extremely reliable and it gets tested every day with 5 puters, 3 serious gamers.

Default Time Warner Channel Lineup Changes

FYI -

Cable changes coming Tuesday - TV/Movies - NewsObserver.com

Bound to be some confusion tomorrow for TWC customers. I imagine their DVR will adjust automatically, but my Tivo may need to be reprogrammed. Maybe this will help me remember where my favorite channels are in the long run though - and the HD ones will be easily identifiable.

Your TiVo box should pick up on the channel changes automatically, as TiVo receives updated guide info directly from TWC and pushes the changes to customers' boxes.

Well, I was thinking more of my Season Passes - I'll just doublecheck everything tomorrow. Heck, might even find some new things worth recording! I have to say that my new Tivo Premiere rocks - almost worth the headaches of the TWC cable card install!

Note: The line up changes go live tomorrow (Tuesday June 8th) in Raleigh/Cary, but not until the 16th for Durham and Chapel Hill.

They need to make a Comedy Central HD channel and more 'free' movie channels besides Encore (channel 310 if anyone didn't know it was there...).

The letter I got from TWC said they would be adding more HD channels beyond the few they identified, but no hint as to what they would be. Comedy Central would be high on my list to add.

I thought I saw a list somewhere and I didn't see any Comedy Central HD, much to my chagrin. Spike is one I remember seeing being added, though.

I think this is the new lineup - http://www.timewarnercable.com/MediaLibrary/4/144/Content%20Management/Documents/CDL/Ral_Dur_CHill_Cary_Golds_WForest_Wils_Gar_Sel_Carr _Hend_Young_Bunn.pdf (broken link)
