My wife and I went to the show last night, and if you have not seen Wicked you should definitely check it out. The show is here until May 16th.

Event Detail

Highly Recommended. Let me know if you have any questions! There are tons of good restaurants you could check out also. We made it to the Piedmont last night.

Cheers!
Matt

Thumbs up Pictures from a visit to DPAC to see Wicked

Tonight my wife and I made our first trip to see a show at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) to see Wicked. We both enjoyed the performance and were impressed with the facility. It is a great addition to the area and we plan to go back. Here are a few pictures from our visit there tonight.

Awesome pics! Glad you enjoyed the show and downtown Durham. Definitely a wonderful addition to the triangle area. I am sure some on this site are surprised you made it out of Durham alive

Cheers!

DPAC is a phenomenal facility and a great addition to the revitilization project in downtown Durham. We've caught a few shows at DPAC, and when you combine it with a great dinner at any of the many restaurants within walking distance of DPAC, it makes for a great night. I'm an especially 'big' fan of the generous legroom the seating at DPAC provides. There's nothing I hate more than going to a venue and either having my knees slammed into the back of the seat in front of me or, even worse, one of those facilities where the head of the person in front of me is at my knees.

The wife and a few of her girlfriends are going to see Wicked on closing weekend as a post-graduation treat. It's all they've been talking about for weeks. Should be a great time.

Mike
