I am considering buying a home in Brightleaf Park subdivision and I have a middle school child (6th grade this year). He is in Wake County schools this year in the AG program and is musically inclined. Can anyone provide information on the school that's in this district....Neal Middle School or a better choice?

Thanks

Sorry, don't know much about Neal, but if he is musically inclined you should check out Durham School of the Arts.

Thanks Danielle. I looked at the website for Durham Scool of the Arts. It looks very impressive and I think my son would thrive there. I see that admission is by lottery. Do you know what the chances are them to have space available for new students?

I'm not sure, but with him starting in the 6th grade I would imagine he would have a better chance than starting later. Good Luck!
