AT&T DSL problems in Cary today (place, driving)

Anyone else having horrible issues (slow speeds) with their AT&T DSL today in the Cary area?

I hadn't noticed a problem, but I just did a speed test and am only at about 1/2 of where I should be.

This is the first issue I've had with AT&T DSL in almost 3 years. If anyone is technical out there, can you try pinging 68.216.218.70 and tell me what the latency (ping time) is? I'm getting 500ms. That IP is my DSL gateway address, which makes me 99% sure this is a problem on the AT&T side.

Mine is awfully slow too and I have At&t. I'm in FL though but maybe it's just an At&t thing. I hopw they fix it soon b/c it's driving me nuts.

Do you have a motorola modem by any chance? Call up ATT and get them to send out a tech. It turned out our modem was acting up, and they replaced it for us. The tech said the motorola modems are garbage and a LOT of them break.
