Hi,
Our subdivision is starting the process of taking over the HOA from our developer. We are looking for a lawyer with HOA experience who can go over the current covenants and help us out with the transition. Can anyone recommend a good person to speak with about this? We are not interested in a management company, just legal representation.

Thanks in advance!

Henry Jones with Jordan Price Wall Grey and Jones. He literally wrote the NC law on HOAs.

can I ask what legal issues you are worried about in this process as I would have assumed the change in Board members, from those nominated by the developer to those elected by the residents, should make no difference to the covenants themselves - just curious thats all
