I know a picture would help but I couldn't get the phone out of my jeans pocket in time. Does anyone know what are those red bushes along Wade Ave in front of the RBC Center? They are green in the summer but a brilliant red right now.
Are they "Burning Bush" and how well do they do here????

Thanks!!!

Burning bush does well here. Full sun. Most grow 6-10' tall. Obviously not evergreen. We have them mixed with boxwoods for a green/red contrast in the fall and to keep some green in winter.

Default Thanks!!

Great info! Thanks for the replies. Most of my yard is all about FULL sun so I'm excited they do well with that. I think the red would be a nice contrast up against my house color!

And that's a cute idea of mixing them with boxwoods.

You guys are always a huge help. Thank you!!!

Default Looking to buy some Burning Bushes

I would like to plant multiple Burning Bushes all along one side of my house. I think I am going to need at least 10 of them. So I was hoping that all you green thumbs (and wanna be green thumbs like me ) could recommend a place to get these at a reasonable price.

I haven't made it out to the garden centers since the last snow. So I don't know who has what. If you have seen Burning Bushes for sale I would LOVE to know where and how much.

Thank you a bunch! I'm hoping I have a beautiful red display for the fall.
