Anyone have any leads that are not on the mls? My wife and I want a small farm (and work it) to raise our kids on. Been looking for MONTHS in the area. We are currently in Warren county. Prefer property with home (fixer upper ok) but vacant is ok. Must have some cleared acreage for livestock. There seems to be a lot that is for sale by owner, or just for sale but not advertised (just no luck yet on our end). Under 275,000 with home and under 140 w/out home. We sold our home and want back into our own place!!! Any help would be appreciated!

They have a property listing service, but I cannot remember the link.

I work with someone who lives about 1 hour from Durham on a small farm with 10 +/- acres and wants to sell very soon without the use or hassle of MLS or a broker. It's in Pitsylvania county, VA. I can probably put you in contact with her if interested.
Funny that she was just talking about finding someone to buy her home and land.
I appreciate it, but we want to stay in NC for better access to the farmers markets. We plan to market through them.
