DMV Road Test in Raleigh, question (license, ferry, office)

I'm wondering about how long the road tests are, and whether or not they go on the beltline or just stick to the main roads? If it makes a difference, I'd be taking it from the Avent ferry DMV.

If you have someone that can take you over there just follow a few people on their road tests and you be able to get familiar with the routes they use.

I have a daughter who got her license at the Avent Ferry office a few years ago. Test was just local roads. Nothing too tricky except she did have to do a 3-point turn (which caused her to fail the first time).
