My fiance and I are just about to purchase our first puppy. The puppy will need several first shots. (Rabbies, Distemper, DHPPC) I'm looking for an affordable yet well respected vet in the Cary area. Do any of you have recommendations? I would greatly appreciate it.

Default Town and Country in Apex for my canine babies

We take our two little doggies to Town and Country in Apex. The vets, and their techs are all really good at what they do. Part of my decision in choosing T and C was the fabulous boarding facilities they have. Once or twice each year, we need to board the pets while we are out of town. It was important to be able to leave them somewhere I knew they were being well-cared for.

When we lived in Holly Springs, we used Arbor Creek Vets and were very happy with them too.

By the way, even though I've owned dogs throughout my life, my experience with my pets has been vastly enhanced by the dog training classes my husband and I attended. We actually were the ones "trained". Learning how to help our beloved little maltese be a good family member was time and money well spent.

We drew on this knowlege again this past summer when we added little Lilly to our family. She is about 3 years old, about 10 pounds, and looks to be mostly Jack Russell with maybe some chichuaua mixed in. I got her from the Animal Protection Society in Durham.

Congratulations on your new family member, may you have many years of happiness!
