Hi!
DH and I are going to move to NC and have been looking via the internet at the thousands of homes available in the Raleigh area. We though Fuquay looked nice, but then saw some homes at the Bluffs at Buffalo Creek in Zebulon that caught our eye, and then saw a house in the Tralee subdivision in Smithfield that also looks pretty good.
We're homebodies so don't need "nightlife" but do need to feel safe, to have restaurants in the vicinity (fast food/eat-in), and high-speed internet is a must.
Any opinions on any of the 3 locations I've mentioned?
Thanks - we can't wait to move!

I don't know a whole lot about Tralee- just that it is part of the Riverwood family and there is a fitness center/pool there. It is located on highway 70 about halfway between Clayton and Selma/Smithfield where you can find shopping, restaurants, movies, etc. It is also close to the 70 bypass so you can jump on that and be at White Oaks in 15 minutes. In terms of that immediate area, it is pretty much rural so you would be driving a bit to get to anything. There is also a prison nearby about 5 miles or so. Do you have jobs yet because I think that would influence you in your choice of towns.

Thanks for the information! I work from home (which is why I need the high-speed internet) and my husband is retired - so we're free to look anywhere (we can afford…LOL).Do you think - just your opinion - that the area will further develop in the next few years - that shopping and restaurants will be closer?

I do think the area will begin to develop especially with the 70 bypass and the amount of residential development in the area.
