We moved to Broadmoor West earlier this year and just love it. You don’t find many all brick home communities anymore, and specially in this price range. Flowers Plantation was nice but we did not like the fact that the homes would need to be painted every few years. We also liked the fact that Broadmoor was so close to I-40.

We were out there over the weekend and looked at several houses. We are on the fence about selling our N. Raleigh home right now... I do love it out there. Thanks for the inside info.

Check out Taft Woods, I live there, it is so nice and what a beautiful home for the money. It is in the Flowers Plantation area, just not acutally Flowers.
Parade of homes Gold and Silver winner and some of the same builders that are in Broadmoar.

How do people feel about Broadmoor West vs. Flowers Plantation now? My wife and I are looking hard at both options as well as other places like Adam's Point. We really want a family community where the neighbors are really close and do things together, preferably where the home would be under $350k but not be one of the more expensive houses in the neighborhood. Flowers and 40/42 near Cleveland are our main areas of focus, so I'd be particularly interested to hear from people that live there now how they like it.
