I am relocating to Raleigh (north) and would like to find a Baptist church that believes, teaches and exegetes the Bible correctly, where teaching God's Word is just as important as praise. Looking for a small to medium size church in the area. Thank you for any suggestions.
I heard that St. Matthews Baptist Church on Louisburg Rd. was highly recommended. I attend North Raleigh Christian Center and I'm loving it. I just moved to the area a few months ago.
Oberlin Road Baptist is located in the Oberlin Village community of Raleigh. It is well over 120 years old. It is not in North Raleigh(near Cameron Village). They have great website oberlinroadbaptist.org. This area is still thriving and was started by freed slaves. They seem to still have a thriving church. Good luck.
St. Mathews on Louisberg would be the one, my fiance' is black and goes there but I am not welcome because I am white, I go elsewhere
