They show outdoor movies at Southern Village on Fridays and Saturdays starting at about 9 p.m. They will be showing them until the beginning of July. The next movie is "Ironman".

It's a fun night out. You take chairs and blankets and there are several places nearby (Weaver Street Market, a pizza place and a gelato place) for meals and snacks.

And we LOVE to hike the trails/greenway at the art museum, as the kids love to "discover" the sculpture along the paths and to go in the Cloud Chamber. It is a great shady hike for breakfast hikes on mornings during the summer when there is a heat wave and after about 9:30 it is just to hot to move. It is a good way to get a couple hours of outside time in before it gets unbearable!

The musuem evening has knapsacks filled with activities to do to to "appreciate" the sculpture and nature on the trails.

On cooler days, it is great to take a morning hike and then go inside for a nice lunch at the restaurant.
