Which sod to place? Fescue, Zoysia, or Bermuda?

Would dog urine on grass hold up better on zoysia then fescue?

Most Bermuda will not get going until May of this year with the cool spring we have had.

Can you cut Zoysia with a regular mower? I read you need a reel mower.

This cool summer has caused my fescue to flourish, killing my hidden (from my wife) agenda to replace it with zoysia or bermuda.

I'd wait until Sept to seed - you need lots of water to get good germination. Ideally you'd "aerate" lawn at same time.

Any home supply store will have a zillion flavors of fescue to choose from.
