I'm new to the forum. My husband and I are building a house in Southeast Raleigh because it's affordable to us. We also like that it's still country-ish, unlike North Raleigh, which is too busy for us.
I've heard and read a few bad things about Southeast Raleigh, but the comments I've read have been vague. What exactly is wrong with Southeast Raleigh?
Our daughter is still only 2 years old, but her school assignment will probably be Barwell Elementary. I've read some stats on the school, but I'm curious if anyone out there has firsthand experience with the school and could shed some light on how good or bad it is.
