Hi All,

If you've worked at RTI International in RTP, can you share with me your experience there? I want to know how's the work environment in a non-profit company like. I have an interview at RTI coming up, an engineering position, so anything you could share I really appreciate. I have never worked for a non-profit before so I don't know. Thank you.

My neighbor works at RTI and loves it there. I have met one of her coworkers and she liked it there as well.

I have no personal experience though.

Same - no personal experience, which I know you'd prefer - but I have several friends there and all like it a lot.

IT has a good reputation. I've interviewed there years ago.

I'll PM you the name of a site where you can look up reviews of companies by employees (not allowed to post here)

I worked at RTI for 10 years before leaving for a position at SAS. After being away for a couple of years, I'm going back to RTI at the beginning of 2015. I work in statistics, not engineering, but I think it's a great company - benefits are good and the work atmosphere in my particular business unit was excellent. YMMV, though, depending on the particular manager and department. RTI is generally considered a good place to work, though, and often makes lists of most family-friendly companies in the state.

Francois,

I'd appreciate it if you could PM me that site as well. I expect to be looking in the next several months.

Thanx!

We can't post glassdoor.com here?

(I guess I'll find out.)

May I ask what department or division are you working in? just want to get a feel what it's like in the advanced research group, Johnson building.
