Costco has something that comes frozen and come parbaked (half baked) then they put them out. The bread is not bad at all.

NYBD in Cary has great bagels! Tommy is from NY and the bagels are as good as I used to get in NJ.

No. I'm from Chicago and it's not Ciabatta bread. It's called either Italian bread or sometimes French Bread. But French isn't as chewy. You want to look for brands like Gonnella and Turano. Unfortunately, those bake bread here in Chicago and I highly doubt bread is shipped that far. I feel for you. I hate submarines sandwiches (like Subway) that came on that lame, soft bread. Chewy bread is the best! Maybe if you call Gonnella or Turano, they'll Fed Ex some to you? The bread itself is cheap so you'd only pay for the Fed Ex. They can put a full loaf into a Fed Ex tube!
