I'll ride my bike to the ramp on the weekends just for the humor. Some folks have no business driving a boat or pulling a trailer.
I like it Sounds like good intertainment. Good one for the "things to do in the triangle" list. It just might up there with "watching the liquor store"
^Well, I rode out there yesterday afternoon ~4ish and stayed about an hour. I witnessed 4 separate people stop their vehicles after attempting to back down the trailer, get out, and physically lift the trailer to align it with the ramp. That's definitely a first for me.
Lol yeah some of the folks launching there are definitely not very smart.
Guy was launching his wake boat on Saturday. Wheel locked to the left, dragging down the ramp and he couldn't figure out why the car wasn't turning. I was laughing. He's lucky the boat didn't drag the car into the lake.
Does anybody know what the fee is at Buckhorn Reservoir in Wilson? Thanks.
From four year old web search information:
Daily and Annual Boat Permits are available onsite at boat ramp:
DAILY RAMP FEE: City of Wilson Residents - $ 5.00
Non-City of Wilson Residents - $10.00
