I have suffer from moderate to severe neck pain and my doctor want me to have some physical therapy treatment done after reviewing my X Ray .
Any recommendation for a good therapist who can really help ?
PT at Total Body Rehab on SE Maynard in Cary did wonders for my husband after his hip surgery. Every session was an hour of hands-on work and she developed a good home program with him that he is still doing.
When he came home from the hospital, we checked out a number of possibilities and decided on Total Body Rehab due to recommendations of others and because the treatments involved an hour of hands-on work. Many of the other places we checked out involved a few minutes with a PT and the rest of the time working out on various machines with the PT stopping by occasionally.
It is a busy practice with only two PTs so it can be difficult to get on the schedule at times. My husband waited a little over a month. (He had a PT coming to our home at the time, so it worked out okay.) On several occasions while waiting for him, I overheard the front office person tell someone that she would put it would be at least a month or two before they had a time slot available.
Good luck.
