We are looking to move from Cary to Fuquay Varina. We have driven through the Lakestone Village subdivision and were really impressed with the homes that we saw. Can anyone tell me if the elementary schools are good and does the neighborhood have plenty of children. We have a 6 year old that loves to be outdoors. Thanks.

I've heard great things about Willow Springs Elementary as far as schools. Sorry I can't tell you more about kids in the neighborhood - I've never driven through on evenings or weekends, which is when you'd see kids out. I'm assuming they're there.

Lakestone is a great community. I have family who live there. There are lots of kids and it's very family-friendly. They have pocket parks and a nice pool and you get a lot of house for the money. It's a very central location, too. Close to shopping, Club Worx, and the schools. Good daycare/pre-school near by and easy access to 401 and Kohls!
