Agreed, don't believe we've hit 90 degrees at RDU yet this year. Next week looks to continue that ... I wonder what the latest calendar date for the first 90 degree day is at RDU?
Humidity has been reasonable too.

Frank

"It don't get no nicer than this" . The really amazing thing about this spring to me is how long it seems to be lasting.

The weather has been nice for quite a while now. I've been riding my bike every weekend since the end of January, and only missed one weekend when we had rain both days. Most weekends I've been able to ride both Saturday & Sunday, and it's been great. Really helped me get in shape for my impending bike tour!

This week has been a little chilly but easy enough to throw on a light jacket in the morning. :-)

Oh and the rain has been great too - haven't had to water the new plantings I had done in March as of yet!

I agree it has been awesome. While walking the other day I noticed some neighbors were running their AC already (they must have them on a timer or something!). It's nice to have the gas and electric bills low at the same time.

We did have to cave and turn the A/C on a couple of weeks ago when we got up to the high 80s. Too much afternoon sun warms up the house making it impossible to sleep.

I've had the BEST sleep with the window near the bed cracked the past two nights. My poor husband and the dog have been freezing in the mornings. =0)

$19 gas bill and a $40 elec bill... I'll take it for as long as I can!

It has been beautiful...I'm enjoying it and the spring rains have been keeping the pollen down, at least for me...I'm doing so much better this year allergy wise...love the days when we are in the high 60's to high 70's, perfect

It's been great. There have been so many years where we just went right from spring to summer without so much as a by-your-leave, that's it's a real treat to have an extended period of nice weather like this. Summer will be here before you know it, but at least we'll have something to remember.

thats what AC is for. but being able to go from after work till 2am in shorts and a t-shirt every night makes me feel like im living on vacation. i love it!
if NC doesn't work out for me, screw Denver, I'm trying Miami. I hate winter and love summer even more than I realized living 26 years in the Northeast
