I went to the Fairgrounds flea market when I visited around the 4th. It was pretty decent with vintage stuff outside. A little too much emphasis on new merch for my tastes, but there was at least some older stuff. I was told that weekend was a slow weekend, if so, then I suspect it's really pretty good.

We used to live across the tracks from the Fairgrounds.

It's true that there's a lot more new stuff than years ago. Some of this relates to the cost to get a daily space for a private garage sale.

Nice local produce and you might just find an antique or something.

Enjoy!

We're new to the area as well. We did check out the Flea Market - o.k. place to walk around and kill some time. But .... saw ton's of junk! I mean it looked like some of these people went thru dumpsters and pulled stuff out, and was trying to sell it. There was some nice/decent stuff as well but my husband and I thought most everything was way overpriced.

We used to have great church fairs and that's were we found deals.

Good luck! and let us know if you find a good one

I agree.

Sometimes you'll find a goodie, sometimes not.

Used to be better.
