Need dentists & doctor recommendations (Raleigh, Durham: chapel, mall, move)

Hi, I need recommendations for good dentists and doctors in the Durham/Southpoint mall area. I am willing to drive 15-20 miles or so for a good doctor (Chapel Hill, Durham, Morrisville, outer parts of Raleigh/Cary). I want a good, knowlegeable doctor, but also wants someone who cares, is personable, and takes time to explain rather than see you and move on.

I saw Dr. Meredith at Sutton Station with Duke Hosp, but didn't care for him. I would prefer an internal med doctor. I ran across a list for Best Doctors 2010 Award for Duke doctors (Best Doctors 2010 Award Winners - DukeHealth.org (http://www.dukehealth.org/health_library/health_articles/best-doctors-2010 - broken link)). If you have any recommendations for a family or internal medicine doctor on this list, please suggest. Also, I am planning to see Dr. Westman next month for my weight. Dr. Meredith suggested him to me due to the success rate of his patients in following the low carb diet. I would prefer to stay with a Duke doctor, since many don't agree with the low carb approach, but am open to any outside. Thank you for your help.

Dentist- Dr. Clifton on Roxboro Rd in N Durham, might be a little far for you, but I swear he is the best, most caring, honest dentist you will ever see. I hope he never retires

Doctor- that is always a hit or miss, I have seen Dr. Smith at Preston Medical Associates in Cary, she is pretty good.

Dr Westman- My mother sees Dr. Westman and she has lost 30lbs so far in a few months, but seeing him is not really necessary, just get the book (New Atkins) and read it cover to cover TWICE! and follow the instructions, I'm down 60 lbs since Sept 1.
