Thanks Vicki. Wanting to avoid Vinyl siding is one obstacle I find
For years, in this area, we didn't use vinyl as most people felt it had a "cheap" feel and look to it.
However, that has changed. More and more n'hoods use vinyl siding. I don't know much about it but I do know there are grades of vinyl, some better than others.
Depending on what you find and if you do consider vinyl, I would consider Highland Creek, although I think the commute from Durant Road area would be a shorter commute.
And, if the entire neighborhood has vinyl siding, you wouldn't go to the additional expense of using fiber cement.
I looked at Highland Creek yesterday. Their Phase 1 houses were very nice looking, but I didn't like the layout of the only 3 left. Their Phase 2 houses have a much cheaper look, unfortunately.
Just an update, we ended up deciding to buy in Old Milburnie Crossings. That's a great, brand new neighborhood...quiet, with beautiful, well-built homes. It might not be for everyone, but you can still get to RTP in 20 minutes, and you avoid the traffic of Capital and 401
