I have not heard good things about them personally. You can check them out on jobvent.com

Look under ACS and Affiliated Computer Services as they are the same company on there from what i could see.

I haven't heard much about them - just that they have a high turnover rate. As to the reason for the turnover rate... no idea. You can also see if there are any reviews on www.indeed.com

ACS has recently been acquired by Xerox; not sure what the consequences of that are - good or bad

I worked at ACS right out of college. They were actually Mellon HR Solutions when I first started. After ACS took over it went down a lot. I left probably 3 or 4 months later. From what I've heard it went down horribly after I left. The pay scale went way down which of course made the standard of employees go down. They outsource for a lot more companies than they did when I was there.

Hopefully it will be a better change with Xerox.

I hear the Raleigh location (right next to my apt. complex) will staff up to a level of 700 in order to support Apple's Iphone.

The new parking lot is about complete and lots of people are working there.

I worked there ... was fired for having my cell phone out of my pocket. I wasnt talking on it ... it was out and in the open. Pulled off the floor and fired.

Best thing that could have happened to me though.

I worked for them for less than two years. I don't know what will change with the Xerox acquisition, but my experience was that they felt like a very unethical organization. (A previous CEO quit during the insider trading scandals a few years back, and while nothing was ever proven about the replacement team, the way they went about their business rubbed me the wrong way.) Just IMO, of course, with no imputation of actual wrongdoing.

Pay is not great and they have a very high turnover rate. I think one call center group went from being paid hourly to being paid by the call also. Other than that I don't know that much about them. But they do hire, so if you need a job it is not a bad place to go to for a while.
