Can someone suggest an economical source in the Cary/Morrisville or West Raleigh area to purchase a NEW propane tank for my grill? The cheapest I've been able to find is WalMart.

Maybe a gas station that refills tanks has them for purchase? Once you have a tank, when it gets old and rusted out, just replace it with a filled tank at one of the exchange centers. Its not the best way to get a full tank, but the best way to get a new tank once you have one.

Not exactly in your area but Costco sells them and they fill them for $10

You don't get a full tank at the exchange stations. You are better off having your tank refilled. I know BJ's sells new tanks, but not sure of the price.
