I am looking for a simple, quiet, resident owned manufactured home community. Are there any without pools, rec halls, billions of clubs and activities? I just want to live in a nice community, not a summer camp.

There are several in north port. Not sure if they are resident owned. But there is harbor cove, harbor isles and La Casa. You could check those out.
