Looking for somewhere closer than Babcock/Cecil Webb, and cheaper than Point Blank...any suggestions? Even better, any public land areas suitable? Thanks!

I've been waiting for J&J (Tamiami near Forrest Nelson Blvd.) to open their range but it looks like it won't be until fall at the earliest. I have no idea what the rates will be when they finally do open the range.

Are you aware of the little indoor range across 41 from J&J? It is pretty small.

Yes, thanks. I did drop in to check it out and was not impressed at all. Looked like they just threw it together with whatever scrap wood they could find. I thought pricing was a bit steep too. I'm hoping for better when they get done across the street.

How can you beat Babcock Web? 3 bucks and its not that far. No for profit range will be under 10 to 12 bucks. The only way you can beat it is by finding some state land were there is an open range for shooting and I don't know of any down here. When I lived in Arkansas there was one about 15 miles from home. But BW is not bad at all. It can be a bit wild west but when you live in Fl and have the population problem we do nothing is un-congested.
