Yeah, I'm pretty much just as opinionated IRL (but much more suave and better-looking…lol)!

Pretty much. Online texts don't convey body language and non-verbals so it's tough when a person's being sarcastic online or being straightforward and honest. I think that's what most people I know IRL appreciate- the fact I don't b.s. and the older I'm getting the less patience I have for it. Makes life a lot easier.

I just started posting so honestly I'm not sure yet. Well, I am kind of in quiet mode as I read/observe posts and then I'm sure my more outgoing side will come out. I spend my entire day talking to 2 year olds (nursery school teacher) so I will keep myself in check and make sure I don't talk to you all like you're toddlers

I am far more open in the forums. I feel much more at ease disclosing details of my personal life when I know I can remain anonymous. In person, I am quiet and reserved, unless I'm around close friends or family.

I am pretty much the same online and in person. Sometimes it's a problem because of that "tone doesn't convey" thing. Imagine Darlene from the show Roseanne...that sort of dry, snarky sense of humor. I am like that (in fact my voice sounds very similar to hers) and that is a difficult thing to communicate online, unless you know somebody well enough to read their posts in their voice and tone.

Also I talk about GWAR a lot more in person. It's my own particular nerdy fixation, and one of the most interesting things in my life. *shrug*

Yes. I'm just as obnoxious in real life.

I'm much, much nicer IRL....
Something about the stupidity of so many posts just brings out the b*tch in me here, lol
I can't stand stupidity, sleaziness, people who are uncouth or narcissistic........
Many posts (and regular posters)
are constantly displaying those traits-
It's a huge factor in how I post, lol
