I have to go out of our home today and spend time with part of humanity. I would rather poke myself multiple times with a dull pencil than spend time with part of humanity. Oh well, it could be worse, I could have to spend time with parts of humanity on a daily basis. Off to the shower with a St. John's Wort chaser.
Yes.
I, too, dislike the dealing with the public.
I had to gas up my car today.
Now my car usually tells me when it needs gas and then guides me to the nearest station (something I don't normally need bc I am completely familiar with where I live, the route to work, etc, and where all the gas stations are).
However, this is one time I was completely not anywhere near where I know where stuff is. And the car didn't offer to tell me where the closest gas station was. I don't know why. So I'm miffed.

I'm envious! My car never tells me anything except knock knock jokes.
I picture your car being like, "Well, how do you like them apples? Don't need my advice, huh?"
Overheard the other day in the grocery store when someone opened a refrigerator near the check out.
You're buying a water?
(grabs an individual size bottle) Yeah, I bought a whole case yesterday, but forgot to bring a bottle this morning. I'm so ticked off at myself.
Immediately thought of this thread.
