I like being able to open my bedroom window so would like to put the air conditioner in the master bath window but I don't know if the air would get into the bedroom or if it would stay in the bathroom. Has anyone ever tried that?

Depends on the BTU rating. In a small bedroom and a 10,000 BTU AC you would likely be fine, but a large bedroom and 5,000 BTUs not. Our master is about 400 sf and we have a 6,000 BTU but it’s in a window near the bed, and we don’t usually get much above 85. If it were in the bathroom or in a hotter summer climate it wouldn’t do much at all.
Perhaps the OP should consider a ductless air conditioner: https://www.hgtv.com/remodel/mechani...-right-for-you. What I would worry about with the air conditioner in the bathroom for the master bedroom would be a cold bathroom and a hotter master bedroom. Air conditioners work best in the room with the window (unless you don't need the window). Possibly they should look also at the whole hose systems?
