I swear I did nothing to the font but Matt Ryan's name on the poll even stands out from the rest in my eyes. Subjectively I think Matt has all of these guys beat because Delhomme's game is to schizo to be under consideration, McNabb don't care anymore because he's too mistake prone, Campbell isn't much better. I think Tony Romo has all of the talant in the world but I question his focus, is his head alway in the game? I know Kurt's numbers look great this year but I feel that he's benefitting from playing in that cookie dough conference, he's 0-3 against Eastern teams (smoke and mirrors). Brees has a ton of weapons and I do give him credit for utilizing them to the fullest but the Rook's better because he's doing more with less and he's making it look very easy. Brees has good numbers because Aints are pass happy (38.5 pass attempts per game) and there's a lot of garbage yardage involved (against Den, Car,ATL). Matt doesn't need to throw much because he's so accurate. Aaron Rodgers is just doesn't wow me as a football player and Eli is playing very well right now but I have a just see more from Ryan (more poise, more leadership, more smarts, more awareness,). Matt has made some incredible comebacks and throws in clutch situations against legit teams and his first pass was a touchdown.
Before his ankle injury, Orton has been one of the most accurate passers. He isn't putting up the yards like Brees or Warner, but he is making all the throws and not throwing any picks. I don't think there is a QB out there, including Matt Ryan, that is working with less as far as wide receivers go.
