The start of the new AFL season, the second since the league's reincarnation, starts soon. (1 month, 9 days on March 11) I thought I'd make a thread.

Discuss the season here, including offseason news going on right now, who your team is, scores, etc.!

I'm hoping the Vigilantes improve upon that 3-13 record from 2010. They'll have an extra two games on the regular season to do so.

I'm not really diggin' this incarnation of Arena Football. I actually miss when it was on a major network for a while. What I hate most is that the Dallas Arena team when from this:

to this:

blah

Still, would like to go to a game.

^^^^ Wow, that is brutal.

Glad they are starting back up, but if those above icons are any indication...maybe they should just leave us with the memories...

It gets worse...

Pittsburgh

Georgia

Tulsa

Some of these teams either downgraded their logos or just went back to looking like a generic, upstart league again as they did in the 80's and 90's.

The Tulsa logo I like, the others, not so much. A lot of the teams kept their old logos, Tampa Bay, Orlando, San Jose, Chicago; only a couple of teams really changed their logos for the worse. I like the Milwaukee team as the Mustangs over the Iron. I am glad the AFL brought back the Barnstormers to top tier arena ball.

I think this is great...at one point I started getting more into the AFL than the NFL.....but I'm assuming that the games won't be on TV? Might have to go down to Philly to see a Soul game this year.

The Soul signed Ryan Vena as QB, who played for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers in the AF2, right in my area.

They have a deal with NFL Network, which is of course a station I don't have. If they dont have a deal with Versus, they need one.

Yeah there's usually a game every Friday night on NFL network. They need maybe some sort of Saturday game deal with Versus like Toxic Toast said, although I have NFL Network.

Why Versus? Versus sucks..... (I'm a TCU fan, trust me)

If nothing with ESPN, at lest try for Fox Sports Net or even The CW.

If you like the AFL and it is on Versus, wouldnt that make it not suck to you at least for that short time period?

What does TCU have to do with Versus?

Versus is a fine channel for what it is.
