There is currently a job opening for Multnomah County that I feel like I'd have a good shot at. My experience fits it well and the work sounds very interesting. I've always worked for local government and would like to keep doing so if I can. I've also been wanting to possibly relocate to Portland for years now, but have had trouble finding jobs that match my skillset.
Anyway, does anyone know what the work life is like for Multnomah County? Is it a good place to be? Are there any problems I should consider? I'm trying to get as much information as I can because I'm very seriously considering going for this. I would appreciate any responses to this thread and/or private messages.
