I need you to go to Gresham to find Steve, I am getting worried. He said he would report back and has yet to check back in with us....does that mean his phone doesn't get internet service in Gresham so he is unable to alert us if he is okay or if he needs help?

Statistically there is a lot of crime - I'm confused by the comments lately insisting there isn't. It's hardly a murder capital, but for an erstwhile suburb, it's quite high. The overall crime rate (mostly property crime) is twice as high as Milwaukie or Oregon City and 120% higher than Beaverton.

The rate is only about 10% below the rate for Portland itself.

Are there safer and nicer neighborhoods in Gresham? Sure. But if you don't already know the city of Gresham well enough to know roughly where the lower/higher crime areas are, I'm not sure why you'd be visiting Gresham anyway (friends/family, sure). It's not like it's a tourism destination.

Let's not forget that Gresham can be overwhelming to some, especially infrequent visitors.
Remember, Gresham once had the honor of being the location of Oregon's one and only "Kenny Roger's Roasters" restaurant.

Steve is probably taking the time to be extremely thorough and objective preparing his review of that wild wacky wonderful town...

Well it doesn't look good for ol' Steve does it. Over 24 hours now. I didn't always agree with him.... rarely agreed with him actually. I mean... its kind of weird how he just announced that he was headed off to Gresham... does he usually tell us about his comings and goings? One of his wives probably knows what's up. Knowing wives like I do... one of them might be the reason.

One or two of his wives are ex-strippers so maybe he's hold up in in a club?
